Liberia Program Coordinator
Fatu Nelson is an experienced programmer with over nine years of professional experience working both in office settings and in the community. She holds a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Liberia and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Mother Pattern College of Health Sciences.
Fatu has extensive practical and theoretical experience in women’s and child protection, conflict management, youth empowerment, human rights advocacy, gender issues, psychosocial counseling, and livelihood development.
Her strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and tolerance have fueled her passion for working with people—especially girls. Fatu believes that when you train a girl child, you train an entire nation.
