Community Building Coordinator
Sanjana Bajwa is the Community Building Coordinator at SHE-CAN, where she focuses on cultivating meaningful relationships, fostering inclusive networks, and strengthening the organization’s community of Scholars, mentors, and supporters. Before joining SHE-CAN, Sanjana served as Advocacy Coordinator & Teacher at Communities of Rooted Brilliance in Seattle, where she led youth leadership initiatives, coordinated the Refugee & Immigrant Youth Advisory Council, and built partnerships with local nonprofits to expand educational and advocacy opportunities for immigrant and refugee communities. Sanjana holds a Master’s degree in Global Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, where she specialized in immigration rights. Her academic work deepened her understanding of global migration, community resilience, and cross-cultural advocacy. She is passionate about creating opportunities that connect people across borders, elevate underrepresented voices, and inspire collective action.
