Dine DeMarlie

Community Building Director

Dine joined the SHE-CAN team in July 2018. She serves as the Community Building Director, focusing on enhancing the mentor community and fostering connections within the Scholarship Coalition to expand our network. With a keen eye on enriching scholar experiences, Dine is actively involved in broadening the pool of international employers who can provide opportunities for our scholars. Drawing from her extensive nonprofit background in community outreach, communications, event planning, and donor relations, she brings valuable expertise to her role. Originally from Chicago, Dine made her way to the Bay Area after completing her studies in psychology at the University of Colorado. Her previous roles include serving as the Events and Communications Manager at the B612 Foundation and holding various positions at the Marin Community Foundation, including Philanthropic Planning Coordinator and Community Outreach Coordinator. Dine continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of SHE-CAN and nurturing a strong, supportive network for all involved.
