Sengly, affectionately known as Lyz, is the eldest daughter in a family of five. Growing up amidst the challenges of farming life, she learned the values of resilience and hard work from an early age. Among her leadership experiences, she regards her nine-month solo journey to Japan at the age of 17 as particularly transformative. Immersed in Japanese culture while proudly representing her own, she assumed the role of spokesperson for international students and organized cultural events. Guided by her ability to connect with others and a passion for aiding those in need, Sengly’s ultimate goal is to serve as a diplomat for her country and showcase Cambodia’s cultural heritage globally.
