Ciatta was raised by her late father and her mother in rural western Liberia. She was proudly chosen for a scholarship exchange program and spent a year at Hope High School in Hope, Arkansas. Ciatta gained experience
advocating for women and girls’ sexual reproductive health and rights in her roles with the Secretariats for Liberian Youth Voices and the Forum for Creation of Influential Women Leadership Program. She has grown into a leader, having learned valuable lessons around empowerment, diversity and inclusion, and effective communication. Ciatta aims to utilize her skills to address critical issues such as maternal health, reproductive health problems, and violence against women. Her goal is to contribute to a future where women and girls can make informed decisions about their well-being through a role in Public Health in her country.
