Ange Sandrine Uwisanze received her master’s degree in Global Health Policy at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. Upon graduation from Scholand, Ange moved to Kigali, Rwanda and began to work as a Research Consultant for High Lands Centre of Leadership for Development and Research Officer for Glasgow Caledonian University. Now, she is a Program Design, Management and Research Graduate Associate at Solid Minds, a private, independent outpatient mental health clinic located in Kigali, Rwanda.
In 2018, Ange graduated from Muhlenberg College with degrees in Public Health and International Studies. At Muhlenberg, Sandrine was an active member of Peer Health Advocates, where she collaborated with others to organize and conduct events that encouraged healthy decisions about nutrition, sexual health, and wellness on campus. She was also a member of the International Student Association and the French Club. In 2016, Sandrine spent her summer interning with the World Health Organization (WHO) in Rwanda. Her goal is to empower girls and women in Africa through health and education policy.
