Jennifer and her three siblings were raised by her two parents in a small town on the shores of the famous Lake Atitlan. Despite facing bullying during her elementary school years, she demonstrated a keen interest in education, insisting on studying at a top school and excelling academically. Since 2015, she has been enrolled at Atitlan Multicultural Academy, where she excelled upon significant language barriers having studied in English without prior training. Jennifer received recognition for her achievements, including winning science fairs and participating in school plays. Passionate about community engagement, Jennifer founded various clubs at her school to empower her peers and promote inclusivity. She is committed to making a difference beyond the classroom and volunteers with various NGOs focused on animal welfare, childcare, and environmental conservation efforts. Jennifer dreams of opening an educational institution to provide scholarships and employment opportunities for her fellow Guatemalans.
