Marketing Manager
Chellee joined the SHE-CAN team in August 2024. With a decade of experience in the non-profit sector, Chellee is thrilled to be working on the Marketing team. As a graduate of San Francisco State University with a degree in Global Peace, Human Rights, and Justice Studies, they are deeply passionate about civil and political rights, gender equity and empowerment, and initiatives that dismantle systemic barriers. Chellee is committed to Diversity, Equity, and Belonging advancements with a strong focus on advancing access, resources, and power for those most affected by historical and institutionalized inequities- always applying an intersectional harm reduction approach in their work. They are excited to use these skills to promote SHE-CAN’s mission and amplify the stories of its scholars.
Outside of professional work, Chellee coaches girls’ soccer, where she embodies the role of a positive female role model in sport. She is also deeply involved in volunteering at Queer and Trans Nonprofits, and is an advocate for mental health awareness. Whether leading a campaign or mentoring young women, Chellee is devoted to creating environments that empower her community to flourish. In her personal time, she enjoys beach outings with her fiancé and their dog, Otter, participating in her book club, and supporting women’s professional sports-especially soccer.
