Rina Ntagozera earned a bachelor’s degree in International Studies with a concentration in Peace, Justice and Human Rights from Haverford College. Rina is currently the Advisor to the Minister at the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Kigali, Rwanda.
Previously, she served as the Assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Rina interned at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rwanda in the summer of 2014. That fall, Rina was awarded a study abroad scholarship from the Danish Institute of Study Abroad to study in Copenhagen, Denmark. Rina returned to Kigali to intern with the Ministry again in the summer of 2015.
Before college, Rina attended Lycee de Kigali and served as a teacher’s assistant for Rwanda’s first program for students with special needs as well as an administrative assistant for the Rwanda Cricket Association. Additionally, as a top student and leader, she was the captain of Rwanda’s National Women’s Cricket Team and continued to play in college on Haverford’s varsity squad.
