Marie Grace Imanariyo graduated from Muhlenberg College with a degree in Computer Science and a double minor in Mathematics and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Since graduating, Marie Grace held a Data Tech Support position at Bloomberg. In 2022, Marie Grace earned her Master’s degree in Engineering Management from Cornell University. She is now a Solution Delivery Analyst at McKinsey & Company. Marie Grace hopes to use technology to fight poverty in Rwanda through improving people’s standards of living.
At Muhlenberg, Marie Grace was President of the International Students Association and a Residence Hall Director. In 2020, she was awarded the Resident Hall Advisor of the Year Award. Marie Grace was a Lab Associate at the Student Help Desk for four years and participated in many Habitat for Humanity Spring Break trips. She also founded UPCycle Apparel, an on-campus consignment store.
In the summer of 2018, Marie Grace completed an internship at BK TecHouse in Kigali, Rwanda, where she designed websites and tested software. Marie Grace is a 2018 Grace Hopper Scholar and attended the women in technology conference in Houston, Texas. In 2017, Marie Grace worked as a Student Assistant at Muhlenberg College Network Services where she supported the school through the installation of software in college computer labs and helped test network jacks to ensure college Wi-Fi connectivity. She has also interned with WorldWideWomen, building web pages for women’s organizations around the world.
Before she joined SHE-CAN and came to the U.S., Marie Grace graduated from Lycée De Kigali in 2014, where she was Class President for two years.
