Leecy grew up in Brewerville City, Liberia in a family of ten with her father and mother. Her leadership experience includes serving as Vice President of the student council government where she advocated for student welfare, fostered positive relationships between instructors and students, and formulated governance policies. Recognizing Liberia’s infrastructure challenges, particularly in road connectivity, Leecy aspires to establish her own construction company. Her goal is to impact her nation by facilitating the construction of roads, bridges, highways, and other infrastructure projects. Through her endeavors, she aims to enhance mobility and accessibility in Liberia, while opening employment opportunities for women from STEM fields.
